WOW | Life's Beautiful

Ayesha Lissanevitch

Life is beautiful because…

We are alive. Love fulfils, purpose empowers, nature mystifies, kindness warms your heart and music lifts your soul.

The best year of my life

'Best' cannot be confined by time. My life in its entirety has been the best journey. I have a fantastic family that encourages me to constantly pursue my dreams and I have amazing friends who make the ride fun, silly and fulfilling.

Best gift I have ever received

My three dogs: Myja, Chutney and Astro and my iPhone X.

The secret behind my glow

My positive outlook on life.

Definition of beauty

Beauty is everywhere and in everything, you just have to stop and take a closer look.

Perfume

Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin

Most expensive item in my closet

This is a tough one as I’m not overly materialistic, but I do own a pair of Gucci sunglasses that were ridiculously expensive and I LOVE IT!

Gadget

Apple iPhone X and my kindle

Shoe

Nike Air Max Thea Ultra Flyknit

I am addicted to…

Japanese food and Malbecs beauty products.

I cannot live without

My Bobby Brown Glow Stick – Sun Tan

On my wish list

I wish to be able to buy my own house and fill it with all the artwork that I love.

The oldest item in my closet

A bright green sweater from the 60’s that belonged to my father. It’s also probably my favourite item of clothing I own other than my leather jacket.

Always in my handbag

Everything! The inside of my handbag is a world in itself and the likelihood of being able to find anything I would ever need is very high.

Latest splurge

My last vacation. Most of my splurges revolve around travelling and discovering new places.

Most loved possession

Watermelon red kitchen aid mixer – It was a gift from my brother when he got his first pay check and my computer MacBook Pro.

Get glamorous tip

Bright lipstick. I recommend MAC’s Candy Yum Yum.

I stay fit by

Constantly staying busy and using nature and the wild as motivation.

Last book I read

Dance, Dance, Dance by Haruki Murakami and Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

A series I can watch over and over again

How I met your Mother and Sense 8.

Three must have in women's closet

An old-school denim jacket, a scarf that feels like you are wrapping a cloud blanket around your neck and a little black cocktail dress.

I can forever dance to…

80’s music and 90’s RnB/hip-hop.

Resolution for 2018

Explore more and love harder.

Happiness is…

Unconditional love
