Do people judge you by how you dress?

I’ve experienced that people have judged me by how I dress, or at least they have in the past. But also I’ve realised that once people know you, it decreases over time. Personally, I have learnt to avoid doing that when I meet a new person. For professionals like us, we have to face this problem on a day to day basis. But with the changing corporate scenario where many companies are evolving towards being more informal, this phenomenon is changing.
