Himalayan Art Festival

E-Arts Nepal put on another amazing show this year by bringing together a wide spectrum of artists under one roof at the ‘Himalayan Art Festival’. Audiences were able to witness more than 200 artworks by 150 artists, which included paintings, paubha, printmaking, sculptures, installations, photographs, among others. The five-day long art exhibition kicked off on September 29 at Nepal Art Council. Chiri Babu Maharjan, Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City inaugurated the festival.

Visual Artist Asha Dangol who has been a part of this festival since its inception in 2017 shared, “The festival is a platform that connects Nepali artists with the local collectors and buyers. It has raised awareness about the value of Nepali art in the local and international art markets. Further, the festival has honoured Nepali artists from all different fields”.”
The event also featured musical performances, art talks and panel discussion, children’s art education program, Kathak dance performance and ceramic firing workshop, adding vibrancy to the event.
