Celebrating traditions and experiencing beautiful moments of our culture has become a part of our life. It is important to celebrate traditions because it keeps us connected to our roots and helps preserve our culture, values and origin. It’s a time when we forget all the chaos of life and embrace goodness and hope among families, relatives and friends. During festivals the whole aura changes, there is so much happiness and positive energy. Traditional celebrations are also an excellent opportunity for intercultural exchange and understanding. Traditions represent a critical piece of our culture.

Nepal being a multicultural nation has festivals almost all year around. I mostly love celebrating the two big festivals, Dashain and Tihar.
