Multidisciplinary artist Manish Lal Shrestha’s 19th solo exhibition Siran-Series II was displayed at Dalai-la art space, Thamel. Shrestha displayed 114 Sirans (pillows) decorating them with multiple colours. Among them, six big sized pillows are the portraits of his previous art ‘Project 1336’ in which he has used the thread and various colours in doddle form to show ups and downs of life. Rest 108 small pillows are ornamented by smiling faces of people from all over Nepal. “I have tried to include all ethnic and cultural people of Nepal and their struggles. They are happy with what they have; they do labor and stay happily without any greed of collecting money”, explained the talented artist. The exhibition was held from June 7 to July 6.
