WOW | What You Think

Why do women end up doing more housework and why are they the primary caretakers of children even when they are working women?

Housework is still considered a woman’s domain. Working women shoulder additional responsibilities as the workplace as well as on the domestic front. In comparison to boys most girls grow up in an environment where they have to learn household duties from childhood. Talking about being primary caretakers of children, mothers do better than fathers because a woman carries the baby for nine months and naturally becomes the primary caretaker.

Also women work either out of interest in a career or due to compulsion to supplement family income or other circumstances.

Yeah! Women do have more responsibilities than man. And for those who question a woman’s ability to multitask… we are doing all this, isn’t it?
