My inspiration for self exploration which changed my perception towards life is ‘The Alchemist’. It acted as an axe on the frozen sea within me. At the root of all pain, all triumph, all love, and of course all adventure, is the underlying question, what is the meaning of life?

The thought that we all yearn for something greater than ourselves is to make a true difference, a small ripple in the universe. As a child, we know exactly what we want. We dreamed, we lived passionately, and unknowingly we followed our hearts. But as we get older, we start to rationalise, doubt and fear.

Yet my heart pleaded with me, knowing if I stayed I would lose my chance, my drive, my window to fulfil my own legend. This book helped me to hold on to my character and my dreams at every dark stage of my life. I was never a pessimist. I tried to look at the brighter side of life and this taught me that gratitude is the practice in finding good in each day. Life can easily become stagnant, but changes depending on what we see. There is always a silver lining if we really look into for it.

“When you want something all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it”… I feel blessed to see the morning sun, I feel blessed being mother of two lovely souls, I feel blessed to bring small differences in peoples’ lives, I feel blessed to see the shine in their eyes, I feel blessed to inspire in you that even little gifts can be vast with loving kindness.

To conclude the reason of my story is that we rise only by lifting others.
