How did Rustic Himalayan Adventure happen?

The turning point in my life was when I decided to leave dentistry just two months before my final year. I felt dentistry wasn’t meant for me. I always dreamt of becoming an adventurer but I was always busy studying. So I decided to completely switch my career.  Now, Rustic Himalayan Adventure is a well-established trek company which focuses on proper expedition. We are constantly working to introduce rustiest, untouched, geographically and culturally diverse travel routes. We are planning for a big motor biking trip to Ladakh and Spiti Valley this year after a successful a trip in 2017. The season for making trip to Manaslu and Tsum Valley is also drawing near so all eyes are on those trips and several others. 

Your favourite destination

My favorite destination is Antarctica. It’s because I always wish to travel to those places where there’s no proper human settlement. You know it’s a unique feeling to get away from the town’s hustle and bustle and into the nature enjoying with animals like seals and penguins.   

What’s on your bucket list?

Cherrapunji in India and the Amazon rainforest are on my bucket list for travelling.

Travel essentials…

Proper shades, proper boots, GPS navigator, hammock, tent, cooking pot, my special coffee holder, bandana neck-warmer, good merino products, and arm-stick roller.

The best compliment that you have received from a girl?

Once, a girl said that I was a very down to earth person.  Although I receive that particular compliment from time to time, it felt good coming from her.

Sex is considered a taboo. How comfortable are you talking about it?

I am very open to talk about sex; however, it depends upon the intention of person. We all know that it’s a basic necessity of life. It’s just like food, shelter and water.

How has the definition of sex changed for you over the years?

When I was 18 years old,  I understood that sex is an intimate part of a relationship. Ten years later I still feel the same.

What is the most important factor for a long lasting relationship?

Understanding each other’s emotions, commitment, being open to compromises and loyalty are factors that make a relationship.   

What’s your take on one night stands and open relationships?

If both the parties are on the same level, then one night stands or open relationships should not be problem. You never know when that one moment might lead to and it could just turn into something meaningful.

What kind of lover are you?

I am a romantic and passionate lover. I always make the effort to make the spark last in a relationship. To be honest, I am quite good.
