Vivah Utsav at Hotel Royal Singi


Weddings are always special and everyone wants theirs to be something different and beautiful. But when it comes to preparation – the arrangements and management necessary to execute your dream wedding becomes not just a challenge but can become quite stressful. And today weddings are no longer just a sequence of traditional rituals but have become quite the gamut of elaborate sequence of events.

To address this, Hotel Royal Singi organised Vivah Utsav – a wedding exhibition in collaboration with Malta International on September 19 and 20 at the hotel to provide a one-stop-shop for everything people need to plan for their wedding.

Tshering Wangel, Director of Hotel Royal Singi said that the objective of Utsav is to provide the services as a whole. “People come and ask us for all the arrangements for the wedding when as a hotel we can offer only hall and food. So, this event aims to present an opportunity for the audience to collaborate with different service providers that are needed for the wedding under one roof so that they do not have to face problems during the arrangement of their special day”, he explained.

The embellishment of the hotel, the arrangement of the Vivah Mandap, and the melody of Naumati and band baja had the visitors enthralled and wondering whether they were attending a real wedding or just an exhibition.

he event exhibited every aspect that entails a wedding celebration, from the very beginning of card printing until the last stages of getting the actual wedding photos. Various service providers exhibited their ideas an the Utsav: 3D mapping and designing by Archraphix Pvt. Ltd., wedding planning by Katmandu Wedding, fabrication by S&S Décor, floral décor by Lily Nursery, photo and video by Wedding D. Studio, jewelry by Luminous Jewels and Traders, specialty furniture by City Rentals, souvenirs, gifts, customisation and card printing by Spangie, LED and audio by ISS Soundz, readymade attire by, customised residences by Home Automation, accessories by The Empress along with bridal wear by Kaavya, make-up by Shradha Maskey, live acoustic band, specialty cars for rent and mehendi artist. The event also provided food and beverage sampling.
Utsav was conducted successfully with 500 invitees attending and experiencing an exhibition that was especially curated to help find answers to creating a dream wedding.
