Women have often been stereotyped as being weak and soft hearted beings. From being harrased at work to domestic violence, it has always been a big challenge for women to survive. In the modern era where maximum women are being involved in business houses and offices, they are often sexually abused by their bosses or supervisors mostly at the time of job promotions. Such inappropriate acts do a lot of harm to their physical and mental health.

Moreover, talking about equality at work, the term “pink collar jobs” is in itself a gender discriminating term as it considers women to be suitable for certain job responsibilities only. However, with more women CEO’s coming in Fortune 500 companies, the future seems optimistic as more women take on leadership roles and break the glass ceiling.

People still consider men to be superior than women stating they have strong command over people but I believe with the new workplace demanding more empathetic leaders, women will take lead.
